Our Summer and Day camps run year round and provide an alternative learning environment where young people learn life-saving skills through fully interactive simulations, games and crafts, and storytelling which guides them through real-world situations in a non-threatening environment full of learning and fun!
Summer Day Camps
A week of fun, unique experiences and activity! Ou campers explore new topics and lessons each day of camp from traffic safety to fire safety to wild animals, bicycles, and many more! Through stories, games, crafts and interactive simulated environments, children learn about and get hands-on experience with real world hazards in a safe and controlled space to better prepare them for real emergencies in their future.
Full Day Camp: 9am-3pm
Early drop off (8am) available for $10 per day
Late Pick up (5 pm) available for $10 per day
Ages: 4 – 12
Cost: $200 per participant per week
Supervised program. Parent not required to attend.
Children must be completely toilet trained and confident.
Day Camps
Experience an awesome day off from school at Safety City! Coinciding with Red Deer School Disctricts PD Days, Safety Day Camps give young people an opportunity to advance their education outside of a traditional classroom.
Safety topics vary each camp with new and interesting lessons rotating through each season.
Ranging from traffic safety, to fire season, water, ice, and snow based lessons, and many more! Children experience games, crafts, and hands-on activities in realistic simulatied environments which expose them to real world hazards in a safe and controlled environment.
